Privacy Policy

TJS Consulting LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ScoreBot Baseball iOS app. This Privacy Policy describes how the app collects, uses, and protects your information.

Information We Collect

When you use ScoreBot Baseball, we collect:

• Apple account identifier and email — provided via Sign in with Apple. We use the identifier to recognize you across sessions. The email (which may be a private relay address from Apple) is used only if we need to contact you about your account.
• Device push token — a unique identifier from Apple's push notification service so we can deliver alerts to your device.
• Team subscriptions — which Cape Cod League teams you have chosen to follow.
• Alert preferences — which alert types (game start, scoring plays, final score) you have enabled.
• Alert history — a record of alerts delivered to you, retained for up to 7 days so you can review missed notifications inside the app.

We do not collect location data, browsing history, contacts, photos, or any other device information. We do not use analytics SDKs or advertising identifiers. We do not collect payment information — the app is free during the 2026 season.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Deliver push notifications for the teams and alert types you have selected
• Maintain your account and preferences across sessions
• Show you your recent alert history inside the app

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising. We share information only with the following services as strictly necessary to operate the app:

• Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — to deliver push notifications to your device. Apple's privacy policy governs this service.
• Railway (our hosting provider) — to store your account, preferences, and alert history on secure servers.

We do not use Twilio, Stripe, Airtable, or any other third-party service in connection with the iOS app. (Those services may be used by other ScoreBot products — see getscorebot.app/legal.)

Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Alert history is automatically deleted after 7 days. If you sign out of the app or request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days. To request deletion, contact us at hello@getscorebot.app.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at hello@getscorebot.app. You can also stop receiving alerts at any time by disabling notifications in iOS Settings or by signing out of the app.

Children's Privacy

ScoreBot Baseball is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS / TLS encryption. Your data is stored on encrypted servers and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when changes were made. Material changes will be announced in-app or via the email associated with your account.
